. The Ronny Powley Center for Social Ministries, Inc. |
|
Since 1993, the Ronny Powley Center has been
serving the families of our community by assisting with food, shelter,
diapers, rent, fuel, prescriptions and utility arrangements for payment. As
our community has grown, so has the need of many of our neighbors,
especially in today's economy. So that we might better be able to assist our neighbors in need, The Ronny Powley Center has merged with New Hope Ministries, which is based in Dillsburg, PA. This new effort will provide us with greater opportunities for sharing the love of Christ by touching the lives of men and women, children and senior citizens, of our greater community. The Center is now known as The Powley Food Bank at New Hope Ministries, and is located in their Mechanicsburg office. For more information about New Hope Ministries, please visit their website: www.nhm-pa.org The churches of The Upper West Shore Ecumenical Ministerium will continue to support The Powley Food Bank and the work of New Hope Ministries. If you, as an individual or a local church, would like more information about how you can become more involved in this important outreach ministry, please contact one of our pastors or you may contact New Hope Ministries directly. Their Mechanicsburg office phone number is 717-766-7333, and their administrative office phone number is 717-432-2087.
